Our Founder got started in 2015 when he realized that hiring people to come in and help fix his houses was an absolute nightmare and that there had to be a better way! Despite being part of generations of family members building new construction we are not stuck in our generational ways of thinking and doing things. VCMs collaborations and strategies actually came from the background and over a decade of building software not homes, but our Founder felt there were many similarities harmonizing the two completely different industries. In both cases what became apparent was the fact that putting together the most competent teams with the highest rate of success at each stage or milestone of the project was the key to a building a premier product that stood out and had saleability. The other key comparison is how evolving methodologies and technology are at the forefront of all successful growing companies. In 2025 VCM started into building with a more sustainable and cost effective builders solutions and that is how we became a collaborative, we no longer wanted to try to do the everything approach. We partnered with collegues and companies that already did it the best and have been doing it the best for years. This is when we finally were able to match budget, time constraints and quality with ease and at new volume levels we never thought was possible. When other builders were claiming 24 month lead times we were able to do in 12-18 months.When qoutes were gathered we were typically 20-30% lower for the same buildouts. We started bringing in container loads of supplies and changed the entire game in the luxury market, and had a lot of fun doing so. VCM has now built in three different continents for some of the greatest people on the planet and many memories, 100s of laughs as well as dreams come trues were the result of that hard work.
